Stefan
we recently stayed at highliner and were pleasantly surprised by the renovations. the rooms were spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated with new vinyl plank flooring, which added to the fresh atmosphere. having a microwave and mini fridge was a handy touch. we appreciated the location as well, and although we didn’t get to use the restaurant or gym, they seemed like nice amenities to have on site.
Not enough toilet paper or tissues.

All in all everything was good, had a really great stay on a business trip. The management was very nice, as well as the staff. Our room was immaculately clean and updated and had a clean bathroom. The location was marvellous and perfect - ease of access to Totem Park.

The room we stayed in was incredibly clean, had a fantastic view, and even included complimentary coffee; the location was amazing, being conveniently close to Totem Park.

The hotel is located in a rather ugly skyscraper, but as we had to take the ferry for the next morning, it was ok.

It is very close to ferries
We asked to change room (there was a noisy restaurant van), they said that it would be possible, but they never did it. The staff was very unpolite. Wireless did not work

Quick check-in and late check-out. Huge, updated room with fluffy pillows and great view. - Reasonably priced with fresh food selection. - Central location, makes it a fine base for discovering Prince Rupert.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location; this hotel needs major renovations!!!! The hotel restaurant food is not good at all...very greasy!!!! The rooms smell of cigarettes...plus the hotel hallways do as well. The beds are very old...the pillows are very lumpy. The esthetic appeal of this hotel is not there. It is not the cleanest hotel...it would be ok for a quick overnight or for people who are on a budget...this hotel still costs around 90.00/night....still too much for this hotel. There is no air-con. In the room..mind you in Prince Rupert with the rain...probably not needed!!! My mother stayed at the hotel around 30 years ago and she states that the decor is the same as when she stayed there.

The staff were friendly and cheerful. On the inside, the hotel appeared clean and well run. The rooms have balconies. It's okay if you expectations are low and you really need a place to stay.
The booked room was not available and we were downgraded. The room had recently been replastered but not painted & looked like a constuction zone. Sink & tub were full of soap scum, sink was rusty. Restaurant was not open at meal times. It was quite a walk to find an open place to eat. Very gray and drab exterior. I could go on but I only have 300 words. For the first time in my life, I actually sent a note to the management company! Big disappointment.

The hotel was clean with incredibly kind and accommodating staff. the staff provided us with good breakfasts. - the location was magnificent and amazing, just a short walk to the car ferry from Bella Bella to Prince Rupert, the mall, stores, and the ocean.

Very convenient location: the bus from the airport stops there and there is a car rental in the same building. Book your car in advance!!! They often run out of cars in the weekend. Nice gym with ocean view.
Wireless did not work in the room, but only on the lobby (and was quite slow). On Friday they said internet had problems since the previous Monday and it was not fixed yet when I left on Sunday night. They do not seem to care very much.

This place is super close to both the restaurant and the train station, so convenient! 😊 My room had the most amazing ocean views.
